Second half of the show, negotiation expert Simon Vumbaca lets us know how to get what you want out of every meeting.

Recycled couture

Phoebe Emerson, Goodone

So it was London Fashion Week and I wanted to know what it takes to be successful in the fashion world. I realised that being a creative needn’t be a bar to you doing business; you can learn what you need to learn. Pheobe Emerson is one such entrepreneur and she makes clothes out of recycled clothes. Check out what this funky fashionista had to say and hear about her company Goodone.

I also got out and about and got a fashion investor to tell me what she looks for in investees and I found out about Nolcha. Are you a struggling designer or creative who’s too small to make any fashion week anywhere? Nolcha can help. They will organise a catwalk show, get you to meet fashion investors and teach you the things about the fashion business you might not already know.

Also, listen out for artist turned fashion designer Laurance Rassin

I want to start a food business

Daddy Donkey’s Joel Henderson

A lot of people want to make it in the food business so I got Joel Henderson in to talk about how he set up a Mexican food van in the middle of Leather Lane. The brand is cool, the food’s great and Joel got the idea after spending a year out in Mexico. He saw a gap in the market and set up with next to nothing in his pocket. I had to talk to Joel. Having walked past his burrito stand every day as a disillusioned City worker, I wanted to know just how the man making those burritos could be so happy !
